Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer II (C/C++) to help build the next generation of automation and analytics services for AWS EC2 VPC scaling.

You will design and implement scalable frameworks for fault detection, remediation strategies, data warehouse analytics, and real-time time-series data processing, collaborating with multiple EC2 teams to validate workloads in production and pre-production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new or existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable frameworks and highly available services to automate fault detection and remediation.
• Develop data warehouse analytics and data visualizations across a large organization.
• Collaborate with EC2 teams to validate end-customer workloads on production and pre-production environments.
