Job summary

Treetown Tech in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. This hybrid role offers schedule flexibility and the option to work from home several days per week depending on project needs.

You will develop embedded software for both consumer and military space projects, collaborate with software and project teams, test and debug platforms, and contribute to documentation and verification tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C or C++ with Python as a bonus.
• Strong understanding of low-level microcontroller programming.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD for embedded projects.
• Degree in CS/CE/SE or Electrical Engineering preferred, but experience matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for R&D projects in consumer and military spaces.
• Collaborate with software department and project teams on design and transfer of knowledge.
• Test and debug new and existing platforms.
• Create software documentation and use version control.
• Design and develop Windows and Linux based test verification tools.
