Job summary

Treetown Tech in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. This hybrid role offers schedule flexibility and the option to work from home several days per week depending on project needs.

You will develop embedded software for both consumer and military space projects, collaborate with software and project teams, test and debug platforms, and contribute to documentation and verification tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C or C++ with Python as a bonus.
• Strong understanding of low-level microcontroller programming.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD for embedded projects.
• Degree in CS/CE/SE or Electrical Engineering preferred, but experience matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop embedded software for innovative R&D projects in both the consumer and military space.
• Work closely with the software department and project teams to solve problems, design software architecture, and transfer knowledge.
• Test and debug new and existing platforms.
• Software documentation and version control.
• Design and develop Windows and Linux based software test verification tools.
