Job summary

Treetown Tech in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team on innovative R&D projects, with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional on-site collaboration.

You will design, implement, test and debug embedded software for microcontrollers, work with Windows and Linux tools, and collaborate closely with customers and end-users to ensure reliable performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development.
• C or C++ programming; Python a bonus.
• Low-level MCU programming experience.
• Experience with Unit Test and CI/CD for embedded development.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for R&D projects on consumer and military space.
• Collaborate with software dept and project teams to design software architecture and transfer knowledge.
• Test and debug new and existing platforms.
• Software documentation and version control.
• Design and develop Windows and Linux based test verification tools.
