Job summary

Istari in Seattle seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer who will be embedded with customer teams, writing code, architecting integrations, and delivering mission-critical software in aerospace and defense contexts.

You will work onsite with clients, translate field experience into product insights, and collaborate with program managers to drive value across CAD, CFD, FEM pipelines and related toolchains. The role requires U.S. citizenship and willingness to be based on site with customers.

Qualifications

• Production-quality code and defend architectural decisions.
• Hands-on experience with CAD/CFD/FEM and related toolchains.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• U.S. citizenship required (clearance eligibility a strong plus).

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows and data environments.
• Architect and build integrations of Istari's platform into CAD/CFD/FEM pipelines.
• Develop and maintain software integrations with good test coverage.
• Provide feedback to product via field experience and roadmap input.
