Job summary

Istari Digital is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer engineering teams and deliver real software integrations. You will architect solutions that connect CAD, CFD, FEM, and Istari's platform, and write production-quality code in fast-paced environments.

You will work alongside program managers and be a key interface to customers, owning technical execution onsite. Clearance eligibility is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-quality code.
• Experience with digital engineering toolchains (CAD/CFD/FEM).
• Ability to work on-site with customers in defense/aerospace contexts.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows and constraints.
• Architect and build integrations that connect Istari's platform to existing toolchains.
• Develop, test, and maintain workflow solutions following modern software practices.
• Translate field experience into product insights and participate in architecture reviews.
