Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Sector in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an Associate or Engineer Embedded Software role focused on modernizing and sustaining Embedded Avionics Flight Programs. You will join an interdisciplinary team, contributing across the software lifecycle and collaborating with PM, suppliers, and government customers.

This full-time on-site position offers growth, challenging projects, and a pathway to higher responsibilities within IMS Embedded Software Engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or similar OO languages.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Must hold or be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded flight programs following best practices and standards.
• Contribute to all phases of the software lifecycle from requirements through maintenance.
• Provide leadership when solving complex problems.
• Communicate effectively with Program Management, suppliers, and government customers.
• Role may be filled at Associate Embedded Software Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer level.
