Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Aeronautics Systems team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role supports multiple programs with software design, development, testing, and integration across the full lifecycle.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with relevant experience in safety-critical embedded RTOS environments and Agile practices, plus proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years software engineering experience or Master’s degree with 0 years or PhD with 0 years.
• Familiar with Safety-Critical Embedded Real Time Software.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile (Product Owner, SCRUM Master, or team member).
• Experience with software languages: C, C++, Python, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, and KornShell for safety-critical apps.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Strategic Operating Units, performing sustainment and modernization programs.
• Contribute to software engineering initiatives across design, test, integration and DevOps.
• Use multiple languages and tools across flight, mission, lab, and tools software lifecycles.
