Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Application Software Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join the Phantom Works Weapons team in St. Charles, MO. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software across the full lifecycle for high-impact defense programs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years in C++, Python, and C#, plus Linux development and Git. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• 1+ years of experience in C++, Python, and C#.
• 1+ years of experience with Linux development.
• 1+ years of experience with Git or similar version control.
• 1+ years of experience in software architecture development and open architectures.
• 1+ years with TCP/UDP based networks.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets standards.
• Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Develops interface definitions.
• Performs unit and integration testing.
• Participates in peer reviews.
• Supports software system integration and test.
• Create software documentation.
