Job summary

Qualifications

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Developer / Engineer to join our Phantom Works Weapons team located in St. Charles, MO, within the St. Louis area. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, data science, or related fields, along with substantial experience in software development. Candidates must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Program Access. Required skills include at least three years of experience with C++, Python, and C#, along with Linux development, version control systems such as Git, and knowledge of network architectures involving TCP/UDP communication. Familiarity with software architecture development, open architectures, and embedded systems is essential. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of relevant experience, knowledge of host environments, operating systems, and troubleshooting software components. Senior candidates should demonstrate extensive experience in software design methodologies, verification and validation processes, and compliance with industry standards. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
