Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, Missouri is seeking an Associate Missions Systems Software Engineer - Embedded to join the Mission Systems Software team. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, focusing on embedded systems, safety-critical flight software, and CI/CD deployments in an Agile environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years’ experience with Go/Java/C/C++/Rust/Python, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance. Relocation may be offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to acquire a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Post-Start).
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience programming with Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
• Experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written skills, teaming skills, technical skills, and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain software for embedded devices and systems.
• Translate customer requirements into software designs for embedded systems.
• Build and write code for embedded software to run on specialized hardware.
• Integrate embedded software with hardware components.
• Analyze, monitor and improve efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
• Test and debug software for embedded devices and systems.
• Adopt technologies, tools, and CI/CD DevSecOps practices in the workflow.
• Advise on software and hardware integration domains.
• Track and evaluate internal and supplier software team performance.
