Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to implement and validate software for battery and energy management systems, covering low and high voltage domains. You will design scalable software architectures, write automated tests (SIL/HIL), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, 2+ years in embedded C/C++, and experience with CAN,

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
2+ years' experience in embedded programming in C or C++.
Proficient in test driven development with SIL/HIL/Unit tests.
1+ years' experience developing code for low/high voltage components in an integrated system.
Experience with CAN, LIN, UDS, DoIP interfaces.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Implement and validate embedded software for battery and energy management systems.
Develop features for low/high voltage systems: power distribution, fault detection, and state estimations.
Design scalable software with focus on reliability and performance.
Write automated tests (SIL/HIL/Unit) for software components.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
Support cross-functional teams to ensure safety and reliability compliance.
Support technical meetings to review feature design and performance.
Assist test planning to achieve design and validation goals.
