Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and maintain embedded Linux applications for charging products. You'll develop efficient C/C++ code, write robust unit tests, and contribute to embedded software projects in a collaborative environment where you can learn and grow.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of industry experience developing C/C++ on embedded Linux.
• Experience with Make and CMake build tools.
• Experience with unit test frameworks e.g., Google Test.
• Strong scripting using Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded Linux application software for charging products.
• Develop unit tests and system level SIL tests for high code quality.
• Develop and support software tools for development and testing.
• Participate in code reviews to improve design quality.
• Support CI/CD tooling for build, test and distribution of production software.
