Job summary

ISPA Technology, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and enhance embedded software for advanced defense systems in Panama City Beach, FL. You will work within an existing codebase, troubleshooting and adding new capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has strong embedded programming experience, is comfortable with legacy code, and can contribute to software testing, configuration, and system integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on embedded software development and programming experience.
• Experience modifying, debugging, and troubleshooting established or legacy codebases.
• Proficiency with embedded languages such as C and/or C++.
• Experience integrating new features into existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, debug, and troubleshoot embedded software within an existing codebase.
• Integrate new software features and specialized capabilities into existing systems.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Support software configuration, system integration, and troubleshooting with electronics and hardware.
• Collaborate with engineers during integration and testing activities.
• Review and improve existing code for reliability and performance.
• Document software changes, configurations, test results, and issues.
