ISPA Technology, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and enhance embedded software for advanced defense systems in Panama City Beach, FL. You will work within an existing codebase, troubleshooting and adding new capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has strong embedded programming experience, is comfortable with legacy code, and can contribute to software testing, configuration, and system integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on embedded software development and programming experience.
• Experience modifying, debugging, and troubleshooting established or legacy codebases.
• Proficiency with embedded languages such as C and/or C++.
• Experience integrating new features into existing systems.

Position Overview

ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and enhancement of embedded software for advanced defense systems. This position will primarily work within an existing codebase, troubleshooting and modifying software while integrating new capabilities and specialized features.

The ideal candidate has strong embedded programming experience, is comfortable working with existing code, and can collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot software, electronics, and system integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, debug, and troubleshoot embedded software within an existing codebase.
• Integrate new software features and specialized capabilities into existing systems.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis to resolve integration and performance issues.
• Support software configuration, system integration, and troubleshooting with electronic hardware and components.
• Collaborate with electrical, systems, and test engineers during integration and testing activities.
• Review and improve existing code for reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Support documentation of software changes, configurations, test results, and technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting DoD, Navy, or other defense systems.
• Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools such as Git.
