Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking an Embedded Software Anti-Tamper Engineer to drive secure design and implementation for tamper‑resistant embedded systems across our portfolio. You will work side‑by‑side with Systems Security and Product Software Engineers to actualize program protection requirements into robust protections on SoCs and FPGA‑based devices.

Qualifications

Experience in safety and security‑critical embedded software/firmware.
Understanding of cryptography.
Experience with SoCs, FPGAs, and hardware security components.
Proficiency in C/C++, Rust.
Current U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop software and firmware for security‑sensitive systems on embedded platforms.
Implement boot and run‑time Anti‑Tamper functionality.
Apply cryptographic mechanisms for authentication, encryption, integrity, and key handling.
Support board bring‑up, hardware‑software integration, and low‑level debugging across boot, initialization, peripheral interfaces, and device communication.
Work with Hardware, FPGA, Systems, and Security engineers to integrate trusted platform features across SoCs, FPGA‑based devices, and related components.
Design, document, implement, and validate security‑critical features.
