About the Team

We are developing cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems, command and control platforms, and autonomous systems across air, land, maritime, and space domains. We are looking for Systems Security Engineers to lead threat-informed Anti-Tamper Engineering for the next generation of Anduril’s autonomous systems. The role requires technical leadership, requirements analysis, design rigor, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on contribution. You will own the execution of all security aspects of product development, production, and sustainment through the full lifecycle to ensure product resiliency in both export and US customer contracts.

What You’ll Do

• Identify Critical Program Information (CPI) for systems across air, land, maritime, and space domains
• Design and implement Anti-Tamper mitigations to deter, detect, delay, and react to reverse engineering
• Develop Anti-Tamper plans and designs with government personnel to mitigate security risks and maintain system performance
• Integrate holistic Systems Security Engineering processes
• Champion security architecture development and requirements derivation for products with varying design maturity
• Design system and solution features with engineering teams to meet security goals
• Consult with software, RF, and electrical engineering architectures and implementations
• Identify and prioritize mission-based security risks and translate threat landscapes into engineering decisions
• Develop, document, orchestrate, and execute system security tests and assessments (including support for customer events)
• Document and capture trade studies, system designs, analyses, and results related to a system’s security posture
• Support major milestone deliveries (e.g., SRR, SVR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR)

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Anti-Tamper Engineering, Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Proven track record across the Systems Security Engineering domain, including embedded Program Protection, Software Security, and Anti-Tamper
• Experience executing Anti-Tamper processes and documenting related work
• Experience with Systems Security Engineering, reverse engineering, or embedded security on DoD programs
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management for embedded weapon systems
• Strong understanding of the "why" behind the product and security design
• Commitment to continuous learning in security
• Ability to brief and interact with technically oriented government customers
• Collaborative, positive work culture mindset
• Active U.S. Secret clearance with SAP and Top Secret eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise with Anti-Tamper methodologies for protecting CPI
• Experience with embedded systems security including FPGA and hardware-based security
• Security architectures for autonomous platforms, unmanned systems, secure communications, or intelligence platforms
• Experience with Group 3+ UAS or military aviation platforms with integrated weapons systems
• Experience developing cryptographic solutions and key management
• Experience with No Magic CAMEO for system design documentation
• Experience with security testing on DoD systems
• Experience with embedded Linux and other operating systems
• Leadership, mentoring, and teaching experience
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance

Salary & Benefits

US Salary Range: $146,000 - $253,000 USD

The salary range is an estimate and may vary based on experience, education, and other factors. Anduril offers supplemental compensation and broad benefits, including healthcare, retirement, professional development, and other programs.
