Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an Embedded Software Anti-Tamper Engineer to advance program protection for secure embedded systems. You will collaborate with Systems Security and Product Software Engineers to implement tamper-resistant features across SoCs and FPGA-based devices.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, secure design, and cross-disciplinary execution to deliver hardened embedded platforms for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety and security-critical embedded software and/or firmware engineering.
• Understanding and application of cryptography.
• Experience with embedded platforms that may include SoCs, FPGAs, and hardware security components.
• Experience in C/C++, Rust.
• Current U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and firmware for security-sensitive systems on embedded platforms.
• Implement boot and run-time Anti-Tamper functionality.
• Apply cryptographic mechanisms for authentication, encryption, integrity, and key handling.
• Support board bring-up, hardware-software integration, and low-level debugging across boot, initialization, peripheral interfaces, and device communication.
• Work with Hardware, FPGA, Systems, and Security engineers to integrate trusted platform features across SoCs, FPGA-based devices, and related components.
• Design, document, implement, and validate security-critical features.
