Job summary

Zoox in San Diego is seeking an embedded software engineer to join the Firmware Platforms team. You will architect, develop, debug, and test software for multiple real-time embedded platforms, and bring-up new platforms with engineers and vendors.

We value 3+ years of experience in distributed electromechanical systems, strong C/C++ skills, and a background with Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS, or SafeRTOS. Familiarity with lab equipment and automotive protocols is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of real-time embedded software experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS.
