Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Software Engineer - Embedded and Real Time to join our software team on-site in San Diego, CA. Travel up to 25% may be required and there is no remote option.

The role involves working in an embedded RTOS environment, contributing to the full software development lifecycle, and participating in Agile Scrum teams to deliver software for multiple baselines used in flight and mission critical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree and entry level experience (Level 2).
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3 years or PhD with 1 year (Level 3).
Experience with the full SDLC.
Experience with Agile SW development, embedded systems, SW integration and testing.
Experience with C, C++, and Python.
Experience with Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
Active in-Scope, U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain initial SAP/PAR access.
