Job summary

RTX is seeking a software engineer in McKinney, TX to join our embedded software teams supporting DoD programs. You will contribute to the software development life cycle for missiles, launchers, radars, and control systems, working on real-time applications and test software.

The role requires a STEM degree, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Onsite in McKinney, occasional travel up to 20%, and a strong agile mindset.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications written in C++ or related languages.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
