Job summary

RTX El Segundo is seeking a Software Engineer II (Embedded / Radar) to contribute to the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar product development. You will work on RT embedded software for radar modes, participate in all phases of the SW lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams onsite at El Segundo campus.

Candidates typically have a STEM degree and 2+ years of experience, proficient in C/C++/ADA, and RTOS/LINUX; ability to obtain security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficient in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical problems with minimal guidance.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Develop RT embedded software for radar modes and capabilities.
