Job summary

Raytheon Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA seeks a Software Engineer II (Embedded / Radar) to join the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar group. Onsite role requiring ability to obtain SAP/SAR access.

You will work across phases of the SW development lifecycle, coding in C/C++/ADA, and developing RT embedded software for radar modes. Qualifications include a STEM degree with 2+ years experience, and ability to obtain interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Development experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain interim Secret U.S. security clearance before start date.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical problems and provide innovative solutions with minimal guidance.
• Contribute at all phases of the software development lifecycle, including software/hardware integration.
• Develop RT embedded software for radar modes and capabilities.
• Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in program and customer meetings.
