Job summary
Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Propulsion Base Software Low Level Driver Engineer to design and develop embedded base software for ECUs with a focus on low-level driver development and hardware-software integration. You will work with AUTOSAR architecture, MCAL, and microcontroller peripherals to deliver robust, production-ready drivers.
You will lead driver development activities, collaborate with hardware and semiconductor teams, perform silicon bring-up, debugging with Lauterbach
Qualifications
- Design and develop low-level driver software for MCUs in propulsion control modules.
- Experience with automotive AUTOSAR MCAL and OS configurations.
- Strong knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and hardware interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own low-level driver software for ICE, hybrid, and electric propulsion control modules.
- Implement and optimize MCAL modules and driver interfaces for SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, LIN, and timers.
- Lead hardware-software integration, silicon bring-up, and real-time debugging.
- Perform verification, safety analysis, and ensure MISRA-C compliance.
- Collaborate with semiconductor, hardware, and ECU teams across programs.
