Stellantis Auburn Hills is seeking a Subsystem Architect to define and coordinate embedded software subsystems for propulsion ECUs. You will drive architecture work from concept through series production, collaborating with global teams and suppliers.

The role emphasizes system-level thinking, interface coherence, and ensuring delivery of software artifacts while advancing reusable solutions and best practices in a global development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant engineering field
• 5 years of related experience in embedded systems or software architecture
• Experience with automotive subsystems and vehicle software
• Candidates with aerospace or other embedded industry backgrounds are welcome

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the ECU subsystem design in line with Stellantis policies and vehicle requirements.
• Translate subsystem input specifications into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure consistency across software, hardware, and network interfaces (ECUs, sensors, actuators).
• Oversee ECU subsystem design and development strategy for propulsion ECUs and coordinate with ECU leaders.
• Lead design reviews to assess subsystem maturity and ensure validation with suppliers and internal partners.
