Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop base software for propulsion control modules. You will engage across the full software lifecycle—from requirements to validation—partnering with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver robust embedded solutions for ICE, hybrid, and EV systems.

The role requires hands-on design, implementation, and verification of real-time embedded code, with a focus on C/C++, MISRA-C, and AUTOSAR basic software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years embedded C/C++ in RTOS.
• 2+ years AUTOSAR Basic Software configuration (OS, MCAL, IOHWAB, FEE, WDG, DEM, DCM, CAN, LIN, XCP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded base software components for propulsion control systems.
• Perform software requirements analysis, architecture design, and detailed design activities.
• Write and optimize embedded C/C++ and low-level software code in RTOS environments.
• Create and execute software test plans including unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Conduct design and code reviews including requirements, architecture, and test documentation.
• Apply software verification and validation methods including white box, black box, and gray box testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to define and refine software requirements.
• Support virtualization strategies and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and data acquisition systems to support debugging and validation efforts.
