Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Propulsion Base Software Core Development Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This role focuses on developing embedded software for propulsion control modules, requiring collaboration across teams and adherence to automotive standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, along with substantial experience in embedded software development, especially in real-time systems. Strong debugging skills and experience with AUTOSAR-based projects are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of embedded C/C++ software development experience in an RTOS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with low-level driver development and interpreting hardware schematics.
  • Understanding of Functional Safety concepts (ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate embedded low-level driver software for propulsion control modules.
  • Perform hardware-software integration and debug using various tools.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive software standards and perform code reviews.
