Blue Origin Engines in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Embedded Control Electronics Hardware Engineer III to design, validate, and optimize control boards for power conversion systems. You will work with firmware, controls, and power electronics teams to ensure accurate sensor data and robust hardware interfaces.

The role requires hands-on lab work, schematic review, PCB bring-up, and hardware troubleshooting, with a focus on ADC accuracy, EMI, isolation, and high-voltage interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering (computer/electrical engineering or similar).
• 5+ years relevant industry experience in embedded control electronics.
• Experience designing embedded control boards for power electronics or power conversion systems.
• Strong understanding of MCUs, DSPs, FPGAs, ADCs, and sensing architectures.
• Familiarity with grounding, EMI, and high-voltage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded control board hardware for power conversion systems (converters, inverters, motor drives).
• Develop architectures using microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, ADCs, and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Design sensing circuits for voltage, current, and temperature with accuracy.
• Interface analog sensing with ADCs and validate measurement performance.
• Collaborate with firmware, controls, and power electronics teams; assist with bring-up and test.
