Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to deliver end-to-end electrical engineering solutions for engines and propulsion systems. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage systems including interpreting analyses and studies.
  • Experience with instrumentation and controls, including hardware such as Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Hands on experience with preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and de-energization procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience working in dynamic, high-energy operational environments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency using AI tools in an engineering workflow.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, and implement electrical engineering solutions spanning instrumentation and controls.
  • Serve as a technical contributor on a small team with wide-ranging scope and shifting priorities.
  • Interface with operations, manufacturing, test, and external partners to gather requirements and align on solutions.
  • Provide engineering input across safety, systems engineering, configuration management, quality, and design processes.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on electrical systems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support maintenance of electrical systems, including spare parts procurement.
  • Configure and support basic networking infrastructures.
  • Apply safe-work practices in design and execution.
