Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer to lead platform-specific projects across Satellite, Ground Systems, and Customer Terminals. You will design embedded software and mentor a team through requirements gathering to mass production, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in embedded firmware, Linux/Yocto/RTOS, kernel development, and experience with ARM-based devices and various interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture for new and existing systems.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands on experience on networking and/or consumer devices using embedded Linux, Yocto, and/or RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software design for Amazon Leo products.
• Mentor a team of software engineers and guide designs from requirements to mass production.
• Collaborate with teams inside and outside Amazon and respond to high priority issues.
