Job summary

Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team, hiring managers, directors, and account managers to broaden reach in mission-critical industries. The successful candidates will focus on our Ubuntu product portfolio, including Ubuntu Core for IoT, providing security and resilience for high-end devices used by global brands.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning large accounts.
• Professional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory sales plan to target security-focused brands and manufacturers.
• Develop pipeline via outreach, local marketing, and events; promote brand awareness.
• Close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets; achieve strategic objectives.
• Manage customer relationships through all sales stages; collaborate with field engineers.
• Maintain accurate data and forecasts in Salesforce; travel regionally and internationally for events.
