Job summary

Canonical Ltd. is hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineering Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services. You will guide solution architecture, design, and delivery for secure edge devices across Americas, EMEA or APAC regions.

Ideal candidates have extensive embedded Linux experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage customer engagements while promoting Canonical technologies and open-source approaches.

Qualifications

Extensive embedded Linux experience with Yocto or comparable distributions.
Experience leading a team of field engineers and driving presales/pro services.
Strong customer engagement and technology-to-business communications.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a regional team of Field engineers across Presales and Professional Services.
Plan and drive progress on goals and projects; mentor team members.
Represent the team to stakeholders and customers; provide market feedback to Product/Engineering.
