Our customers include top public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders across sectors. We operate with a global distributed team of over 1000 colleagues in more than 70 countries, with few roles based in offices. The role requires a blend of technical skills: deep Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, experience with low-level Linux boot processes, BIOS, firmware, and embedded development methodologies. Candidates should thrive in dynamic client engagements with innovative entrepreneurs, balancing technical excellence with customer-centric solutions. The role involves engaging with customers pre-sales, proposing solutions, delivering projects, and conveying market needs internally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our solutions.
  • Proposing and elaborating technical solutions for prospective clients.
  • Participating in the delivery of Embedded Linux projects.
  • Communicating market requirements internally and contributing to solution development.
  • Serving as a customer advocate and trusted advisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
  • Experience with distribution/packaging (deb, rpm).
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot).
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
  • Professional proficiency in English and local language (if applicable).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result-oriented, capable of multitasking, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and events.

Preferred additional skills: Experience with customer engagements is a plus.

What we offer:

  • Distributed work environment with biannual in-person team sprints.
  • Annual learning and development budget of USD 2,000.
  • Regular compensation reviews, performance bonuses, and benefits.
  • Comprehensive benefits including leave, parental leave, Employee Assistance Program, and travel opportunities.
