Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is building a privacy-sensitive, AI-powered platform for access control and security. This role focuses on Linux-based firmware and cloud-enabled systems, collaborating with firmware, backend and frontend teams to deliver scalable product lines.

You will own major systems, drive from concept to completion, and learn new technologies while contributing to a fast-growing startup. Onsite five days a week, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science.
• 3+ years of experience working on Linux development as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in C/C++.
• Familiar with Linux servers, device drivers, kernel patches and secure OS design.
• Preferred experience with embedded Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Yocto and Secure Boot.
• Familiarity with Go and Python, WebRTC, distributed systems, and debugging HTTP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own Linux-based firmware/software for the Access Control product line.
• Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend teams to ship end-to-end features.
• Drive ideas from concept to completion with ownership and autonomy.
• Tackle large, complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Learn new technologies while contributing to major systems.
