Job summary
Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team and seeks technically skilled professionals to sell Ubuntu and Ubuntu Core for IoT. The role focuses on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing complex enterprise deals across embedded Linux and related technologies.
Candidates should travel regionally and internationally for events and client engagements. We offer remote roles worldwide with occasional in-person team sprints and a comprehensive benefits program,
Qualifications
- Field sales experience in embedded Linux or enterprise software.
- Undergraduate technical degree.
- Strong English communication.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory sales plan.
- Collaborate with marketing to raise brand awareness in prioritized accounts.
- Develop pipeline through outreach, local marketing, and industry events.
- Close contracts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle and coordinate with Field Engineers.
- Maintain accurate data and forecasts in Salesforce.
- Establish productive relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with colleagues including support, delivery, and management.
