Job summary

AIM seeks a hands-on verification engineer to advance testing for autonomous heavy equipment. You will develop automated HIL tests in Python, work with C++ systems, and ensure robust hardware-software integration on real hardware.

You’ll design and extend verification infrastructure, build test benches, and collaborate across firmware, electrical, and systems engineering to deliver reliable validation across platforms. Travel to job sites and across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years in embedded systems, verification, or related roles.
• 1+ year focused on verification and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automated Hardware-in-the-Loop tests.
• Strong Python for test automation and working knowledge of C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for AIM's embedded software and hardware systems.
• Convert existing manual tests into repeatable automated workflows.
• Develop Python-based test scripts, utilities, and automation frameworks.
• Expand HIL test coverage across embedded controllers, sensors, actuators, and interfaces.
• Maintain and improve HIL test benches and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and electrical interfaces.
• Investigate failures and identify root causes across product and test infra.
• Document test results and support issue resolution.
