AIM Intelligent Machines, Inc. is seeking a hands-on verification engineer to build and maintain automated HIL testing for its autonomous heavy equipment.

You'll develop Python-based tests, work with C++ systems, and investigate failures across software, hardware, and test infrastructure. You will own the verification infrastructure, expand test coverage across embedded controllers and machine interfaces, and collaborate with firmware, electrical, and systems teams to deliver reliable validation

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in embedded systems, verification, validation, or related roles.
• Minimum 1 year focusing on verification and test automation.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing automated HIL tests.
• Strong Python for test automation and working knowledge of C++.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, interfaces, and software integration.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for AIM's embedded systems.
• Convert manual tests into repeatable automated workflows.
• Develop Python scripts, utilities, and automation frameworks.
• Expand HIL test coverage across controllers, sensors, actuators, and interfaces.
• Maintain and extend HIL test benches and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot test equipment, wiring, interfaces, and software config issues.
• Investigate failures and identify root causes across product and test infra.
• Execute automated HIL tests during development and releases.
