Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to design, develop, and test Kuiper-MAC firmware running on ground networks and satellites. You will join a cross-functional team to deliver complete Kuiper-MAC FW components and drivers in a real-time embedded environment.

You will work on defining, implementing, and debugging FW/HW interfaces, profiling performance, and applying best practices in software architecture.

Competenze

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Mansioni

Define multi-dimensional performance requirements (e.g., MIPs, memory BW) in a cross-functional environment.
Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirements.
Build component use-cases/test-cases and debug code in Kuiper embedded environment.
Profile and execute code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environment.
Define, document, test and debug FW-HW interfaces.
Contribute to defining services and functionalities delivered by FW-subsystems.
Familiarity with SW/FW best practices (clean architecture, refactoring).
