Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA seeks a Firmware Embedded Engineer to deliver embedded firmware for ground networks and satellites within the Kuiper MAC-SW team. You will design, develop and test Kuiper-MAC FW components and drivers for real-time embedded environments.

Join a cross-functional team to define requirements, optimize performance, and bring up FW/HW interfaces with best practices and rigorous testing in a fast-paced space/wireless project.

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience on new or existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Come work at Amazon! As a member of Kuiper MAC-SW, you will be responsible for delivering embedded FW code running on ground networks on customer terminals and on satellites. Come and join the innovative and unique wireless project Kuiper. You would be focused on designing, developing and testing complete Kuiper-MAC FW. You will be a key member of a cross functional team of innovators, working on unique wireless technology that will enable millions of people to stay connected. Design, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environment.

Export Control Requirement

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
