Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Oklahoma City is seeking an Associate Embedded Software Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer to join the IMS team. You will develop and sustain embedded flight programs, participate across the full SDLC, and collaborate with management, suppliers, and government customers on site.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field, C/C++/Ada proficiency, and DoD Secret clearance eligibility. Overtime, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (CS/EE/CE) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or other OO languages.
• Familiarity with the full SDLC from requirements to testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded flight programs using best practices and standards.
• Participate in requirements, modeling, design, testing, integration and maintenance.
• Provide leadership in solving complex technical problems.
• Interface with Program Management, suppliers, and government customers with strong communication.
