Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our Oklahoma City team. The role focuses on supporting Aeronautics Systems through software design, development, testing, and DevOps across multiple programs.

You will work with C, C++, Python and other languages on safety-critical embedded systems, applying best practices across the software lifecycle and Agile frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in a STEM field with extensive software engineering experience.
• Experience with safety-critical embedded RTOS and life-cycle processes.
• Familiar with Agile roles and software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Strategic Operating Units and modernization programs.
• Contribute across software design, development, testing, integration and DevOps.
• Work with languages and tools across flight, lab, and tools software lifecycle.
• Collaborate to ensure safety-critical software quality and verification.
