Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Test Engineer to functionally test embedded firmware in AMI products. The role involves designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 3-6 years of experience in test and measurement environment required.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and repair Test Lab equipment.
• Working knowledge of regulatory bodies such as UL, CSA and the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with automated test tools and test automation frameworks; Python or LabVIEW preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly present risks, results and recommendations.

• Perform and develop functional tests based on assigned projects.
• Work with test engineers and lab technicians in a team environment.
• Specific functional responsibilities are assigned and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Other duties as required by the Director Engineering Lab & Product Test.
