Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks an Embedded Firmware Test Engineer to coordinate testing activities in the lab and oversee test procedures for wiring devices and components. You will design, develop and evaluate electronics parts for test environments and support certification agencies during inspections.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–6 years in test and measurement. Strong schematic literacy and familiarity with industry standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 3–6 years of experience in test and measurement environment.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Working knowledge of UL, CSA, and National Electrical Code requirements.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment and methodologies for electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of Lab Technicians for testing wiring devices and components.
• Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts or assemblies for tests.
• Assist with scheduling lab assignments and equipment maintenance.
• Support certification agencies during inspection and testing.
• Review data and calculations for internal and external review.
