Seametrics in Kent, WA is seeking an Embedded Engineering Intern to support firmware development, electronics bring-up, testing, and documentation under supervision. You will contribute to defined projects and learn practical engineering methods while building a portfolio of work.

The role focuses on embedded firmware, electronics labs, and cross-team collaboration with a trajectory toward future engineering openings. Compensation reflects the internship and location.

Formación

• Currently pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in electrical/computer engineering, embedded systems, or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Foundational programming in C, C++, Python.
• Basic understanding of digital electronics, microcontrollers, or embedded-system concepts.
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow structured test procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication, organization, and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with firmware development, debugging, code review under supervision.
• Use lab equipment to inspect, measure, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
• Read schematics, datasheets, and interface documentation to understand tasks.
• Collect, organize, and analyze test data; communicate results clearly.
• Document procedures, configurations, and test evidence in approved systems.
• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and weekly intern check-ins.
