Job summary

Seametrics is seeking an Embedded Engineering Intern to support the Engineering team with supervised work involving embedded firmware, electronics bring-up, test and troubleshooting, data collection, and technical documentation.

The intern will work on a defined project with measurable learning objectives and will build practical experience in the tools, methods, and design controls used to develop and support measurement products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing associate, bachelor’s, or master’s in a relevant field.
• Foundational programming in C/C++ or Python.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and test requirements.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.
• Basic data organization and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with firmware development and debugging under supervision.
• Use lab equipment to inspect, measure, test, and troubleshoot.
• Read schematics and interface docs to understand tasks.
• Document procedures and test results in engineering systems.
• Participate in design reviews and weekly intern check-ins.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and document-control requirements.
• Ask questions and surface blockers early.
