Job summary

Shine BrightX LLC is seeking a motivated student in computer science or engineering to support embedded firmware development for access control products. You will work with C and Python, learn electronics fundamentals, and participate in design reviews and daily standups with the firmware team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership through school, work, or projects.
• C programming coursework with intermediate proficiency.
• Foundational knowledge in electronics.

Responsibilities

• Support development of embedded firmware solutions for electronic access control and security products.
• Define and scope firmware requirements, design and document system architecture.
• Develop and test embedded software and integrate firmware into modular systems.
• Learn about electronic locking systems and access control solutions.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage in daily standups, project meetings, and firmware team discussions.
