Zusammenfassung

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Firmware Engineer – Embedded Controls / Sensors at Aberdeen Proving Ground to develop and modify embedded firmware for advanced hardware systems. You’ll work with gimbals, optics, motors, and sensors to implement new capabilities and troubleshoot complex behavior.

You will design and debug low-level software on embedded processors, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, and control hardware.

Qualifikationen

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience developing or modifying embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or SoCs and peripherals.
• Experience interfacing with hardware using interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, PWM, ADC/DAC.
• Experience developing firmware for motors, actuators, sensors, optics, gimbals, or other electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems, interrupts, timers, memory management, and hardware interfaces.
• Experience debugging firmware and hardware using lab equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, datasheets, interface control documents, and existing firmware.
