Job summary

Glassboard, a hardware product development firm, seeks an Embedded Firmware Engineer to own firmware across RTOS/Linux/bare metal on custom electronics. You will work with hardware and software teams to drive architecture, implementation, validation, and manufacturing support.

Required: 2+ years in product development, experience with Linux/RTOS, USB/CAN/UART/SPI/I2C, and proficiency with J-Link debuggers. Indianapolis-based, on-site, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in product development or R&D-focused field.
Direct experience in embedded software using Linux, RTOS, or bare metal.
Experience with USB, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C or similar interfaces.
Familiarity with real-time debuggers and hardware schematics.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and debug real-time firmware in C.
Design and implement functionality for embedded subsystems.
Drive firmware development for performance and hardware integration.
Create technical specs from customer requirements.
Prototype bring-up, debugging, and verification.
