You will contribute to software architecture, write requirements and test procedures, and support lab, environmental, EMI/EMC, and field testing in Santa Barbara, California.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least four years of embedded firmware development experience and strong C programming skills.
• Experience with bare-metal microcontrollers, interrupt-driven systems, and low-level hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop bare-metal embedded firmware and low-level drivers for motor controllers and generator control electronics.
• Own software modules from design through hardware bring-up and verification.
• Contribute to software architecture and standards, write requirements and test procedures.
