Job summary

Ascendo Resources, LLC is seeking a Software/Firmware Design Engineer to develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for microprocessors and microcontrollers in Saint Petersburg, FL. Qualifications

Strong experience with C, C++, and C# programming.
Embedded software and microcontroller programming experience (8/16/32-bit).
Hands-on motor control experience with BLDC and DC motors.
Experience with software testing, including static analysis, unit, and integration testing.
Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, and troubleshoot embedded software and firmware.
Write and maintain code using C, C++, and C#.
Support sensor-based and sensorless motor control systems.
Perform static analysis, unit testing, integration testing, and software verification.
Troubleshoot software and electromechanical systems.
Develop Python scripts for testing and automation.
Support software requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and integration.
Utilize Git and project management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
